Congratulations on your adoption, Tori!

Looking for a little ‘love muffin’ wrapped up in an ‘Energizer Bunny’ body, then Tori might be just the dog for you.

She is 3 month old Chihuahua Mix who was found as a stray and rescued by our Rescue so she could find her forever home.

She loves to play with her toys and entertain you with her antics, but also wants to cuddle after a busy day of playing. She gets along with other dogs and would be fine with children who are ‘dog-friendly’.

Like most puppies she will need some basic obedience training and some housetraining to be the best dog she can be.

She really wants a ‘forever home’ – could yours be just the one she’s dreaming of? Tori is current on all vaccines, microchipped and spayed.

Please enjoy some interesting information about the bold Chihuahua breed.

Chihuahuas are the oldest breed on the American continent and the smallest breed in the world. Native to Mexico, where it received its name from the Mexican State of Chihuahua. They live about 15 years or longer and are the smallest recognized breed of dog in the world.

The Chihuahua is the only “natural” toy breed, that is, the only small dog NOT bred down from larger versions of the same breed.

They are good little dogs for apartment life. The Chihuahua likes warm weather and dislikes the cold. They need space just like any other dog. Because they are small does not mean they can be kept in a very small area.

Although it is tempting to carry these dainty creatures about, these are active little dogs that need a daily walk.

Courageous, extremely lively, proud and adventurous, they enjoy affection. The Chihuahua is a good companion dog.
